Pro Bono Skills Limited (“PBS“, “we” or “us”) is the company behind probonoskills.com, a not-for-profit site created to support those engaged in pro bono work. This privacy notice explains how we use any personal information (“information”) that we collect from you.

This privacy notice applies to anyone who interacts with us about PBS and its services in any way (“you” or “your”). What information do we collect about you?
We process standard information about you which includes: contact information, such as your name and email address; information about how you use our website, including IP address or other device information; and, where you donate money to PBS, we may additionally collect financial details, such as your payment and bank account details.
How we use your information
We process your information for the purposes set out in this privacy notice. We are required by law to set out the legal reasons for processing your information. We normally process standard information about you because it is in our interests, necessary to provide our services or required by law.
We process your information for a number of legitimate interests. These include managing all aspects of our relationship with you, helping us improve our services, and in order to exercise our rights or handle claims, taking into account your interests, rights and freedoms. How long is your information kept for?
We keep your information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes it was collected. We keep your information in line with set periods calculated using the following criteria: (i) how long you have been using our services and when you stop using our services; (ii) any time limits for making a claim; (iii) and periods for keeping information that is required by law or recommended by regulators, professionals bodies or associations.
You have a number of rights over your information that, subject to a number of exceptions, you can request to exercise. These include:
- the right to be informed about what information on you is being collected, how it is being processed, how long it will be kept for and, if applicable, whether it will be shared;
- the right to request a copy of any of information about you that PBS holds;

- the right to request that PBS delete certain information about you;
- the right to request that PBS transfer your information in whole or part to a third party;
- the right to request that PBS limit the way it processes your information; and
- the right to challenge and object to certain types of information processing.
