Aideen is the Pro Bono & CLE Coordinator at the University of Edinburgh Law School. She works closely with the Director, Rebecca Samaras, to facilitate access to justice through pro bono and educate tomorrow’s legal professionals through Clinic.
Aideen began her career by studying law and politics at Dublin City University before going onto assist with research addressing violent online political extremism at the VOX-Pol Network of Excellence. Aideen now holds an LLM in International Law from the University of Edinburgh.
Her current work is motivated by an overarching interest in interdisciplinary research and practice that seeks to determine how best the legal profession can serve our communities both locally and around the globe. When not operating somewhere in the legal sphere, Aideen exercises her creativity by writing and illustrating.
