Seonaid is a Lecturer in Law at Glasgow Caledonian University. In this role she supports the Law Clinic, led by the Clinic’s Academic Director Claire McFadzean, and works on a number of projects using law for the common good. She has a particular interest in strategic litigation and working with students to explore the potential for public interest litigation in Scotland.
Seonaid has a Masters in International Law and worked at the International Criminal Court in the Netherlands before qualifying as a Scottish solicitor. Most recently, she worked for a law centre specialising in the rights of ethnic minority communities. Seonaid is passionate about human rights law and access to justice and is also the co-founder of RebLaw Scotland, a movement which uses law as a tool for social justice.
